252days until
113th Congress Ends

Men + Women = one human race.

United 4 Equality, LLC, believes equality for All is a 21st Century economic, political and business imperative.

Our ERA 2015 campaign spearheaded the congressional joint resolutions HJR 113 and SJR 15 urging Congress to remove their arbitrary deadline for ratification of a women's bill of rights to the Constitution.

The Equal Rights Amendment seeks to resolve a 224 year old exclusion that denies to every woman - her rights to equal citizenship, participation, representation and opportunity within the United States today.

We dedicate ourselves to carrying out our Foremothers' vision that all women become equal partners in society.

The 1923 Equal Rights Amendment campaign (ERA) is 90 years old.

      It states:
Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.

Amending the U.S. Constitution requires 2/3 of Congress + 38 states.

The ERA was finally approved 50 years later by 2/3 of Congress in 1972. Yet Congress obstructed the amendment from passage and it fell short of the last three states it needed. On June 30, 1982, the ERA  "expired" just three states away from victory.

United 4 Equality, LLC, launched the ERA 2015 campaign in 2009 when we sought Congressional action to release the ERA from its congressional imprisonment by eliminating any deadlines for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. Our original joint resolution debuted in 2011 (House) and 2012 (Senate) and was re-introduced in 2013 on a bi-partisan basis in the Senate and by Democrats in the House.

      Take Action

Urge Congress to take immediate action to lift their deadline for ratification of the
      Equal Rights Amendment.
