May 12, 2011 - Capitol Hill Federally Employed Women hosted their annual "Grassroots Advocacy Day" focusing on building co-sponsors for H.J. Res. 47 in the House and identifying a Leader in the Senate. U4E's founder, Carolyn Cook presented at their morning briefing and joined visits to Alaska Senators Murkowski and Begich; Washington State Senators Cantwell and Murray. Afterwards, FEW honored Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (Lead Sponsor in the House of H.J. Res 47) at a reception. |
