Mother-Daughter Relationships - A Quest for Hidden Treasure - ( 8-week session; 2 hours each meeting)

Eight-week facilitated themes focused on strengthening inter-generational understanding and communication between mothers and daughters aged 11 - 18. Mothers and daughters will discuss role-specific challenges, needs and strategies separately and reconvene for sharing stories, commitments and acknowledgements.

Discussion and activities will develop:

• empathy and understanding

• healthy communication

• stress reduction

• clear and reasonable limit setting

• boundaries and expectations

• accountability and ownership

• pride in being female
